Kidney Friendly Recipe – Masala Bhindi

Ingredients
- 2 Cups Okra (Bhindi), Chopped
- 1 Onion, Chopped
- 1 Tomato, Chopped
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 Teaspoon Coriander Seeds
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 Tablespoon Ghee Or Vegetable Oil Salt To Taste
Instructions
- In a pan, dry roast the cumin seeds and coriander seeds until they become fragrant. Grind the roasted seeds into a fine powder.
- In the same pan, heat the ghee or oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes soft and translucent.
- Add the chopped tomato and cook until it has softened.
- Add the chopped okra to the pan and stir well.
- Add the ground cumin and coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and garam masala. Mix well and cook for 5-10 minutes or until the okra is cooked through.
- Add salt to taste and stir well. your bhindi masala is now ready to serve.
